Nannies and Family Assistants

A Nanny is a childcare provider who works either full or part-time in your home caring for your children. In conjunction with or in the parent's absence, her role is to provide the same attentive, patient and loving care for the children as the parents would. Most nannies do not provide any housekeeping beyond duties related to the children such as cleaning and organizing the childrens toys, maintaining bedrooms, childrens laundry and dishes related to feeding the children.

A Family Assistant porvides all of the above, will work Full or Part-time and will also help with most housekeeping tasks, errands, cooking, transportation, pet care and other duties to help a family's home run smoothly.

Mothers Helpers and Infant Care Specialists

A Mother's Helper is usually a younger, less experienced caregvier who works alongside a "Stay at Home Mom", helping care for the children, accompanying her on outings and assisting with daily household chores. This is a great option when you do not need full-time care, but would like a few hours each week to free your hands of the kids to get some stuff done.

Infant Care Specialist are individuals, often times nannies, with an exceptional knowledge of infant care, infant growth and development stages and essential life-saving techniques. They usually work closely with a new mother and infant encouraging bonding, assisting with feedings and allowing mom to get the rest she so desperately needs.
